This is our Phase 1 project. Last November, we demolished over 4,000 square meters of old factory buildings and built 12,600 square meters of modern ones. Xu Zhengfeng, the general manager of Wujiang Tanqiu Zhengfeng Weaving Factory, introduced that in the next two years, the company will implement organic industrial renewal and successively promote the construction of three phases of industrial renewal projects, cumulatively demolishing 10,000 square meters of old factory buildings and building 35,000 square meters of new ones. At present, the first phase of the project has been completed, and the second and third phases of the project are being implemented step by step as planned.
Wujiang Tanqiu Zhengfeng Weaving Factory was established in 1999, mainly dealing in textile fabrics such as brocade cotton fabric, brocade cotton spun fabric and brocade polyester. As one of the benchmark demonstrations of industrial renewal enterprises in Shengze, in recent years, Wujiang Tanqiu Zhengfeng Weaving Factory has effectively utilized the existing land resources, optimized the industrial layout, and achieved high-quality development of the enterprise by eliminating old and inefficient equipment and introducing the latest energy-saving and efficient equipment.
The reporter entered the newly-built modern factory building, where brand-new jet equipment was neatly arranged one after another. Xu Zhengfeng told the reporter that all these air-jet looms are the latest model of Toyota, JAT910. At present, these machines are under debugging and preparation and will be put into use soon.
Compared with previous models, these machines have achieved approximately 15% energy savings. In addition, digital technology has been utilized to enhance operational convenience and efficiency. Xu Zhengfeng gave the reporter an example. The original machine cost 120 yuan for electricity, but after the new machine was put into use, it dropped to 100 yuan per day. Thus, 7,300 yuan could be saved in a year. I have purchased 96 units now, which can effectively reduce production costs compared to before. Xu Zhengfeng said that the update of the equipment not only reduced production energy consumption, achieved green and clean production, but also improved production efficiency.
In addition to equipment updates, Xu Zhengfeng also plans for intelligent transformation and digital transformation. Apply artificial intelligence to every production link of the textile industry, especially the intelligent monitoring and control during the production process and the intelligent detection of product quality. Through intelligent production methods, production efficiency is enhanced and labor costs are also reduced. Xu Zhengfeng said.
