Toyota Equipment Update

On April 19th, two major textile industry projects were completed and put into use in Shengze Town, Wujiang District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province: the international high-quality furniture fabric intelligent workshop invested 152 million yuan by Wujiang Zhongguan Textile and the high-end fashion fabric intelligent workshop invested 100 million yuan by Wujiang Zhengfeng Weaving Factory. The new project of the former covers an area of 36.5 mu, introduces advanced equipment and eliminates some old equipment. It is expected that the annual output can reach 37 million meters of fabric and the output value can reach 300 million yuan. The latter covers an area of 20 mu. The invested project has added a construction area of 30,000 square meters, introduced equipment such as Toyota looms, and phased out 198 old pieces of equipment. The expected output value is 200 million yuan. At present, 168 textile enterprises in Shengze have participated in industrial renewal, with a total investment of 22.2 billion yuan. Among them, 37 projects have been completed, with a total investment of 5.5 billion yuan. Shengze will continue to promote all-round innovation through industrial renewal, support enterprise development, emphasize innovation, digitalization and sustainability, and drive the industrial upgrading from fabrics to materials. It is committed to building a city brand of "Silk Ancient Town, Textile Famous City and Fashion Capital".
